Submit shipping instructions to all Class 1 railroads

Make it easy on yourself.  Instead of submitting waybill information on 6 different pieces of software, centralize the sending of shipping instructions to all 6 Class 1s on NOPB's web-based platform, RailConnect.  

You decide when you are ready and NOPB will create an account only accessable by your company.  Recurring shipments to the same location with the same parameters will be saved as a "pattern".  All waybill patterns, containing the basic shipment data that will never change (i.e. commodity), will be created by NOPB when you need them.  When ready to ship a railcar, all you need to do is enter the variable info (i.e. car number, weights, seal numbers), hit Send, and you're done.  You can create as many patterns as you like.

Finally, our software has a built-in notification system that can trigger an automatic email distribution of the waybill information you just submitted.  This can be set up to go out to as many recipients as you would like.  So the minute you hit Send, you can notify your customs broker, warehouse supervisor, receiver, traffic manager, etc. that a railcar is on the way.
